AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Newest Free Story Addition
This release also adds the game's newest complimentary story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
